Bosch Expands Its Bosch Car Service Program in North AmericaIMC Has the Best Shops as Customers, Which Mean You May Qualify to Join the BCS Network

Canoga Park, CA March 1, 2009 - Bosch is pleased to announce the expansion of the Bosch Car Service (BCS) program in North America. This internationally known and respected program of 14,000 BCS Service Centers is experiencing a major expansion in North America, in both membership and program benefits. As IMC has the best shops for customers, Bosch has asked IMC to share some information about the BCS program and give the opportunity for our customer's shops to be considered for inclusion into this program.

BCS centers must pass a rigorous evaluation process to be accepted to the program, making Bosch Car Service one of the most respected and revered programs in the industry. Bosch’s requirements (as taken from the Bosch BSC profile) of a shop to be considered for the BCS program include:

  • Applying shop can not be located less than 3 miles from an existing Bosch Car Service facility (your location in relation to current BCS shops will be verified by Bosch)
  • A stand alone building is preferred, but attached buildings can qualify depending on location and size. Shop should have good street visibility with moderate traffic.
  • Are your facilities (both repair bays as well as customer areas), neat, clean & organized?
  • Facility must sell automotive products only.
  • Facility may sell used cars (facility can not be a dealership of new or used cars)
  • Facility must have adequate space for point of purchase & advertising materials to be displayed.
  • Facility must have a minimum of two service bays and personnel to support the business when team members attend Bosch provided trainings and seminars.

If you feel your shop meets these initial requirements to be considered for admittance into the BCS network, and you are intersected, please contact your IMC Sales Representative. We can talk more about the opportunity, and how IMC can help facilitate your application to Bosch for consideration.

Why Be a BCS Shop?

Members not only receive world-class parts and technical support; they also have access to an expanding suite of training classes. Training is not limited to technology, as a wide range of business management classes is being rolled out as well.

In an increasingly competitive marketplace, effective marketing programs are critical. The BCS program provides tools unmatched in the industry. Direct mail marketing tools provide customer retention as well as help to draw in new customers. New Bosch Car Service imaging programs bring brand awareness, setting BCS centers apart from the competition. Also new to the BCS program are cross-promotions with other Bosch divisions, giving BCS centers marketing access to an unparalleled array of customers and programs.

We are glad to be partnering with Bosch to bring you another opportunity to grow your business. IMC is Your Import Parts Solution.
